It doesn’t matter if Cordelia doesn’t realize it’s Atticus’ mess to clean up. The fact is that she has a vid point. Atticus is in this mess because he hurt Nereus for his own ends. I agree with Cordelia. The whole world has lost magic because of him. Why should they give up priceless artifacts to help him without a good reason?
Good for you Daphne! I can’t blame her for being naive and originally trusting Atticus, especially after she fell in love with him. Consider that she was deprived of being loved by her family and not educated the way a princess should have been. But I give her props for calling Atticus out for his lies and actions.
As the story continues, I dislike Atticus more and more. He’s a dishonest husband, is immature, possessive, and unable to see how he’s responsible for events that are transpiring. He’s really very toxic in this relationship and Daphne deserves better. He has no respect for his wife’s feelings or relationships—if he did, he wouldn’t attack Zephyr regardless of the fact that zephyr was knocked into Daphne. Not to mention Sirona sucks too. She knew better than to say something to Atticus because of his temper but said it anyway. AND Queen Lavinia did say that the miscarriage was caused by the unknown magic Jean Nott threw into Daphne’s body but Sirona still is pinning the blame on Zephyr, probably because she wants to harvest his parts, just like she stole Nereus’ eye.
