I'm an aspiring writer, but I'm also obsessed with reading, perhaps more so than anything else.

He's actively hunting the bird.
I wonder if he's hunting for the bird to reclaim his name, his family, and his identity. There's also the possibility that he's seeking out a seed to become a Supreme. Technically, he wouldn't be entering it alone given his transformation ability. That said, I can only imagine the recap we'll eventually get to read. Never mind all the implications and potentially earth-shattering developments with the cohort. I can only imagine how they'll react when and if Sunny's existence suddenly returns. Nephis is going to have a massive issue, as will Kai, I imagine. The one that confuses me is Cassie.
His name, his true name, was taken from him. Not just fated, not just the bond that made him Nephis's slave, but all that entailed. Being fated was a curse and a gift, after all. So no more Uncle Sunny, maybe no more Sunless either for that matter. Rain won't remember him either. No one will. There goes his home, his job, his everything. Now, it makes sense why Cassie was so sad.
That's a really good point. However, tragic that point may be in the end. I guess that's another way to have eternity last but a fleeting moment else...
Oblivion's true name, or perhaps Weaver's true name.....
I really don't know how I feel about this development at all. I mean, yeah, he's a Saint, but he's lost a vast amount in exchange. On top of that loss, we as readers have lost our insight into Sunny, and I feel that is the bit that I really don't like about this whole scenario. I also hope that this isn't permanent.
A part of me worries for Nephis and the rest of the cohort. The Prince of Nothing is still a major player currently. I can't help but feel anxiety while I consider all the potential scenarios. While I don't think he would target Effie or Dumpling, neither of them is safe. The sadness displayed by Cassie at Sunny's departure also concerns me considerably. I mean, yeah, it could be nothing and no one we want dead or injured dies or gets maimed. There are a few other angles, but Mordet did say he had to kill Nephis. However, I also wonder if its possible they'll join one another to take down the greats. We'll see soon enough.
I understand that G3 is on vacation, and I also understand that the only way for him to make money is to have a long story. That said, this is getting a bit out of hand. I feel that the last sixteen chapters could have occurred in three or four chapters if I'm being generous. I feel like I could take six months off, and when I came back, we'd just be finishing the third nightmare. I know that wouldn't be the case, or at least I really hope that isn't the case. It's probably just the vacation, and that's why these past several chapters have been elongated to such an extent. It doesn't change anything, I'm still going to keep buying chapters and coins, but I really hope we're getting to the end of this mini arc in the source....
Just how much time has passed in the tomb? I suppose it being a nightmare could allow for some reversal of time, or at least there's the hope of it. It makes me wonder if Rain is now an adult and if Earth has been lost to the dream realm entirely. I certainly hope that isn't the case, but you never know, especially with G3 involved.
