A large group of people was standing in front of one of the many spatial distortions that had appeared thirty years ago in that city. All of them had seen that many times, but only now they had gotten close like that, close enough to feel an ominous aura coming from it. The distortion looked like a giant Mercury sphere that could reflect the surroundings completely, and some people even called it a wormhole. It seemed insane, but they were going to cross that without wearing any special gear.
