I must add a new review for volume 2, it is exquisite. Like Ophelia's review I must say the same, the writing makes you imagine and feel as if you are in an anime. Volume 2 starts with an objectification theme of the female body, developed further by the intricacies of the political world Lilly has been thrown in. It's incredibly interesting, it captivates you and allures you into wanting to read more, it barely gives you any time to rest between reading sessions. Volume 2 is a bit more, I don't exactly know how to word it. Modern, maybe. You feel as if capitalism and its materialism is conveyed through the story in volume 2, the superficiality, the objectivism is constantly present. If anything, volume 2 is like a fetish fantasy of women that love this specific scenario, you can have anything you want in exceptation of submission, Lilly is paraded as an ornament to the king of Tyria, but her quality of life improves so much that she starts to question if she even wants to take revenge on Aetheria for the death of her parents. The current content only expands to the moment she is being taught mannierisms meant for royal etiquette. Lilly's character is being developed from being a rough adventurer to a noblewoman with pristine features (although forcefully, I might add, she is being forced by her current situations). The story so far is beyond amazing, I would love to see this adapted to a manga or anime in the future, the animations would be beyond satisfying for this story.
