And I think I already made the MC (Sorath) special enough in this case, he has immunity to time-related skill like regress or loop, which is the counter of Julian ability. Not to mention his future skill after completing the Awakening Phase (Maybe at that point you will think of him as very special cuz of his power, however currently the novel hasn't reached that point yet, it's around 15-25 more chapters. Sadly my rl schedule is conflicting with my writing schedule so it will take more time)

It's simple, to make things more interesting and make his revenge more satiable (for me at least). You never know what one can do to someone who has time loop upon death, u either could capture them and torture them for eternity without afraid losing your previous memory even if the skill owner looped
