Addis chuckled as he stroked the file, unable to help the cold smile that came to his lips. He would take care of teaching Faye, offering the human a deal he couldn't refuse. A chance to escape Adrian for good, and unknowingly, give himself to another. Except he would not make the same mistakes he made with her and risk the human trying to run away. Addis' smile twitched as he pushed open the door, ignoring the occupants who were lounging about as he headed for his office. He may have gone too far in punishing the vampiress, but his rage had only been building the entire trip in Aerovale. A quick search with the creature had proved that Sybil had retreated back to Pavivani city, clearly smug in what she considered a victory.
