This feels kinda sudden. It always sounded really nice and cozy when they were all hanging out
The exterior of my home looked as it always had, dreary and boring, made of oak primarily and set on a stone foundation the entire structure looked plain. The only way you could tell that it was better than others being the fact it had two stories. I felt a twinge of anxiety that I hadn't been treating my women right, they were both very beautiful and deserved the world ye I had kept them in this plain ass house. Stepping into the house didn't make me feel any better as it was rather bleak for furniture and other aspects, the only good additions of recent being the vase plants that I had hastily made around the room for the party. Hopefully, they're not going to have some crazy population boom and have to start tearing up the forest...the dryads would be very annoyed, I imagine

At the same time I felt a massive sensation of control waft over me, as if I could exclude certain people I wanted, disallow Magicules in certain areas and also choose plants to die off or have boosted. For some reason, my brain went to the resource tree mod from Minecraft. Will she be able to prevent other nations from stealing saplings or taking cuttings to grow their own versions of these?
Milim was getting bored again with all of this normal work nonsense, So I decided to create some more mystical plants. At first I was a little confused at what I should create a plant of, but then it came to me... What if i created a gold tree that grew golden coins? Taking the idea to its extreme it could be used to back up the currency of our nation as well as to create a valuable commodity, many nations in the world using gold as a base currency due to its rareness. Given the fact that Cobalt was also rare I decided to also try experimenting with a Cobalt tree. - lowstar2dReplied to lowstar

I had the thought of versing some very powerful creatures and siphoning their stats, like the wyverns and lesser dragons. A rather evil thought crossed my mind for a fraction of a second but I immediately denied it. Yes, I had considered going to the Kingdom of Falmuth and slaughtering an entire city worth of people, siphoning their stats and reaping their souls. The act of doing such a thing would expedite my journey into a True Demon Lord but it would also haunt me for the rest of my eternal life. I think this might be where part of my confusion at her economic plan comes from. Who are they all working for? Does everyone just have city sponsored jobs? If she wants an industrial revolution, Dwargon already seems to be most of the way there, with a lot of the accompanying problems. In our world, there was a co-development of finance capital to fund the building of large factories and purchase expensive machinery that the individual worker wouldn't be able to purchase on their own. How will they curb the excess accumulation, flagrant labor abuses, and corruption to drive policy that accompanied the IR?
Real life was often different from anime and people needed a goal to achieve, even monsters needed this... Thus, money was a great motivator and helped ramp up the productiveness of society. Naturally the system didn't forget about those who may not be able to sustain prolonged work, Rimuru implementing a universal wage of 1 Silver and 10 Bronze which happened to be the amount needed to live for a week in modest accommodation. The system hadn't had any issues yet and the 'government' had only made tax to be a fixed 10% of annual wages, the collection of which would be run by one of Rigurd's subordinate elders. It was fair as half of the taxes would be used to procure materials from other nations and to pay wages for government staff. It was cyclical in nature and would continue to work so long as Rimuru and Silviana were in charge. - lowstar12dCommented
It'd be interesting if her using wish to bring new metals into the world meant they'd start forming naturally. After all, if she wants to use it for anything, the metallurgy will have to work in the world

Yeah, it was basically all just fluff stuff. There was a kitchen level and pantry level that was dedicated to the staff which came in the form of spectral cats that traversed the inside of the building via conduits within the walls. Yeah, I liked Caleb's cat idea. Alongside the new tower there was also several training grounds that sprinkled the lowest level of the demi-plane, ranging from Obstacle courses and dodging courses to full blown magical trials and gymnasiums. - lowstar16dCommented
