I just had a cool thought and I think you might like thisIf god gave the hunters power, he would give it to those who need it or those who are competent. If they turn bad or follow evil, their powers would be taken and distributed as quests to those who need it. Like killing those who destroyed your life won't be counted as sin here, but killing the innocent will be a sin. then you can have the bad guys take innocent people as shields and the good guys can't kill them because in the end, it will be them who kill.
