Overall I read it all and enjoyed it greatly. But there are some stupid issues. Many complain about his dark magic teacher 'enslaving' him even though it was shown later that it was a training tool to raise his resistance to dark magic, particularly enslavment magic. There are also people complaining about Ella and how weird it is that the mc accepted a goat as his mother. Honestly I thought it was awesome, it reminded me of fables and biblical stories. But there are things that annoy me. The "STONGEST SYSTEM" does nothing most of the time. It is actually a second rate garbage system that does not help him much at all and is forgotten eventually. For using classes that are overleved for him, even though they are already unlocked. He loses access to those classes for years. Even after having those classes for a decade he is still incompitent in them. Thats not to say he loses any battle, he is the mc! But the most revolting part of the whole novel is when he has premonitons that a particular place will lead to disaster and his fate as the dark prince. He want's to avoid this fate as hard as possible but then the next chapter he brings his women there just for them to die horribly. For literally no fucking reason. The mc literally thinks he will die if he goes there but acts suprised when all of his lovers die. It is so forced its disgusting. The author forced the last arc so hard that its a insult to the readers. Especially when his lover is about to be raped while in hell and the MC shows up just in time to save them. Why make the female characters about to be raped even after they die? For the plot and no other reason. There is a lot to like here, I gave it 4 stars. But a lot of people are acting like its a masterpiece. Its fucking not.
I have no idea why this is rated so highly, I don't have a problem with villian mc but this is just boring. he just kills people for fun before his lickers can say "oh how great!" "oh my wonderful god!" "what a beautiful spell!" Both the heroines and the MC have zero personality. You could read it for the lemons if you want.
How did he not become a desperado vs Great Red?
To be honest I never got why Vahn had to spend eons watching the universe. I don't see any motivation for him to. He had the ability to link the records after that last quest. And a reunion after 700 years would have been more meaningful than a weird alternate Vahn that has knowledge of his journey but not the experience.
You ain't going crazy, the chapters dissapeared.
Ais' romance and mc backstory is done really well actually. Characters here don't act very cardboardy unlike what you can expect from most fanfics. But the constant barrage of useless info is just a lot. and literally a whole chapter introducing 10 supporters you will forget about right away. Be ready to skip paragraphs cause every new dungeon floor is literally a wiki page on the monsters that appear there. Then the mc fights the strongest rare monster on the floor, then repeat. Other then that its a great read as far as the genre goes. Characters like Averin and Jakk end up being surprisingly likable. Though you can only save so many orphans to babysit before I start to roll my eyes. Isaac claims to have some purpose for them but he doesn't since he is way stronger then them and does not even use them as messengers.
I don't know why I like this line so much.
