I randomly bumped into this online and started casually reading to pass the time without serious expectations. Under two weeks later (work weeks, mind you) I had devoured all 900~ chapters available. Realizing then I was not reading through official sources, this single handedly made me register an account, get a membership, privilege access, and unlock as many old chapters as I could reasonably afford at once to support the author. It's an incredibly gripping story with well developed characters that will take you on an amazing journey and I can't wait to read more. The main character's strength, while outstanding, is well justified and his growth comes from long and arduous effort, filled with harrowing experiences to be overcome. The world itself is terrifying and fascinating, like an odd mix of Dark Souls with Lovecraftian terrors and the occasional returns to normalcy and safety. The author does not rush past immense stretches of time nor reduce significant adventures to things like "and three years passed and he came back much stronger" but instead takes the time to thoroughly explore each stage of the protagonist's journey and delving deep into details of each story. If I were to point out something I could enjoy more of it would be to witness further developments with other characters who can at times feel a little one-dimensional in their roles as companions or rivals to the protagonist. I hope to continue reading this for a very long time and would even love to have some hardcover copies in my bookshelves one day. I will certainly continue to follow and support the author's endeavours in the foreseeable future.
