alright, so this will be my final review as I've decided to drop this novel. there isn't a single intelligent character in this novel, everyone around mc has to be dumbed down to make him seem less dumb, that alone should be a telltale sign that you're doing something wrong author... the author is failing epically at keeping the story interesting. it started with MC getting betrayed and then reincarnated as a demon. He swore to get his revenge, and I became very anticipant of the revenge that was to come... except it never came... The author constantly ignores plot progression in favour of writing explanations, people's reactions, s*x scenes etc etc. I get that those things might be necessary, but the author is overdoing it. I read 200 chapters of minimal amount of plot. 200 chapters worth of wasted time. the author, like the idiot he is, decided that he would also prioritise romance, very forced and cringe romance, I might add in a novel that doesn't even have romance tag. over the revenge stuff. which caused the novel to lose its purpose and focus. but I figure that the author might wisen up and the novel would become better... it didn't happen. I should've looked at his 10 other dropped and failed novels and taken it as a sign to not read this, but I was bored and stupid...

there's some incredibly forced and terribly done romance at around chapter 114, whats even worse is that this novel has no romance tag, yet the author stupidly decided to force some really bad done romance down readers throat.author has like 10 other novels that was dropped, and I'm starting to see why. you'd expect him to improve as an author and learn from his mkstakes, but noo. he still makes rookie mistakes.

a completely useless chapter that did nothing to contribute to the plot.author is simping so hard for his own MC. You might think the author is 2 seconds away from getting on his knees to start gargling on mcs balls.I know the authors' intellectual capacity is severely limited, but there are far better ways to fulfil a word count that doesn't involve simping for his own MC or writing paragraph after paragraph of side character being in "awe" or shocked or whatever by mcs stupid antics.

is this an actual villain protagonist, or is it one of those protagonist that's goody-two-shoes but is delusional enough to believe they're villainous?

author is also way to focused on writing everyone's exaggerated reactions to whatever the mc does, "x was so shocked at how mc used mana" etc etc

aight, so first, MC acts like a low-key chickensh** which was very annoying, then MC decides to show some of his power, which is great, except he did it in the most cringy, immature and chuuni way possibly by acting as if he's from some anime, does the author not realise how cringe it is? probably not. From what I've seen so far, he has single digit levels of iq.

I forgot to mention that this has some cringe-inducing romance in it despite the lack of romance tag. also, the author wasted a full chapter by writing a chapter full of details about dancing and boring sh** like that.

there's not a single intelligent character in this novel. MC keeps being looked down upon for hundreds of chapters only to get some unsatisfying face-slaps later sometimes he even let people off without taking any revenge or anything. Merina, being one example, for a novel with dark and antihero tags, his personality and mindset are really unsatisfying. all the schemes in this novel is so braindead that author needs to bend logic and use plot armor only for it to work.the worst part is MC being overall stupid and is often a wimp.

I tried to like this, I really did, but I only managed to read about 15 chapters before finally giving up.there doesn't seem to be much thought put into the story as it feels like it's all over the place.there's some really immature humour in this, too.my biggest issue is that it's absolutely riddled with grammar and spelling mistakes. there's plenty of misgendering and misplaced names etc, and the way the sentences are written lacks flow, I often have to pause and reconstruct the sentences correctly in my head just for it to make sense.

don't really remember what happened in the novel but I think he let morals and sentimentality get in the way of his ambition iirc

a novel that once had great potential but was ruined by an author who got no idea what he's doing.there's plotholes, bland characters, and a story that takes over 100 chapters to progress even a little bit.there was a tournament arc that went on and on for a full 100-150 chapters before finally getting finished. if that doesn't tell you how absolutely absent the story progression is then I dont know what will.
