When Cassie went to the coffe shop could she not see that sunny was a transcendent terror? I have a suspicion that Cassie still remembers who sunny is.

Maybe the idea of breaking fate (sunny no longer being enslaved) isn’t actually him no longer being nephis slave but making her forget. the dream god seems to have a focus on memory. This is a bit of a stretch but maybe after he breaks his fate no one will be able to remember who he is similar to the forgotten god.

I have an idea that this may be refering to the vision Cassie saw just before the second nightmare where sunny and Cassie died. We were given a snow/winter landscape which we were lead to belive was the chain iseles but maybe the vision was perhaps Antarctica.

I saw a comment on one of the previous chapters that mentioned how her core might also be her flaw, the fact that it is always leaking essence means that she has to constantly kill to regain her essense just to live. This would exsplain why she is so tired and why she has so much more battle exsperience then the other masters, with her flaw she constantly has to engage In battle, it’a either kill or be killed.
