really loving the novel so far, good mix of everything. depravity, action, humour, and at the current point I am at the character development and reactions seem like they will start in earnest soon which from quality based on little investment so far makes me believe it will be author's bread and butter. highly recommend

yeah but fex was super reckless, and with your wife of centuries being killed by your friend and creation of the person you respect/trust the most with him and every other stabiliser gone. I'd imagine fex put out his own fire,then incased the candle, turned all the wax to vapor, then relit his candle of life.

with proper counterforce, projectile weapons and lasers would both be faster and travel farther in space than in an atmosphere fighting against gravity and a near countless amount of particles
