Read books
"Leonora and Atticus" not "Leonora and Alistair" turned abruptly, as Alistair is not present
Well, eyeglasses đđ
Shouldn't that read "she *realized* she would have preferred"?
"Fear and raged war within her" Is there a word missing perhaps?
I think this line is cut off from the previous paragraph.
Well, one would need to have at least a little bit of intelligence in the first place to lose it
this description is a thing of beauty
deservedly so
btw you won't mind if i'll delete this comment chain, will you?
As Iâve said itâs just a detail and the only reason Iâve even pointed that out is the vision of the king standing miserably entire time Atticus was drowning his kids in mashed potatoes. Thank you for this picture sooooo much. (if weâre nitpicking tho ch. 33 says that âAtticus was brought into his chambersâ which in ch. 42 became âhis temporary bedchambersâ. Jeez, I *LOVE* these chapters.)
Mind you such things bother probably just my obsessive brain and no-one else. I just love the story so much and feel it can be even better. â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸
The âtemporalâ thing happened to me in ch. 42 as the beginning of the chapter suggests to me that several days have passed since the âaphrodisiac incidentâ (ââPeacefulâ wasnât a term Daphne could use to describe the next few days of her life in the castleâ, â<You canât avoid His Majesty forever>â, â<He hasnât eaten properly the last couple of days without you around>â). However later in the chapter Daphne thinks about âthe raunchy things that had happened just last nightâ and that âAtticus had a death wish for bringing up last nightâs events again!â. It can be just me as itâs quite realistic that Daphne had avoided Atticus for some time even before the aforementioned incident and Iâm just overthinking.
Famous last words
I really love the melancholy in the description of the curtains looking like "they longed to fall to the floor and cease to be"
Dear Author I have to confess something. As a child Iâve been quite patient, never searched for presents before my birthdays or Christmas (and in few occasions Iâve accidentally came across them before it was time Iâve always been deeply disappointed in myself) and obediently waited to unwrap them at the proper moment never ever wanting to go to bed earlier the previous day so the moment could arrive sooner. Now, dear Author, youâve spoiled me. For me the story updates at around 6 AM and first time in my life I found myself looking forward to bedtime knowing that when I wake up new chapters will be freshly dropped and waiting for me. Whatâs even more, I â the morning sleepyhead â have recently started to wake up half an hour earlier than Iâd used to so Iâd have time to read a chapter or two before my day even starts. So thank you Author and congratulations â youâve achieved what Santa Claus never managed to.
Namely Atticus in Ch. 20 đ
