Bro this isn't a a chapter of Shadow Slave but the recipe of pancakes and waffles and we paid to read it. Stop defending the author to the hilt. This was a totally unnecessary chapter where we only had Sunny cooking. What character development are you talking about?

90% of this chapter is filler. I did not pay to read the recipe for waffles and pancakes. I really like the slice of life, but when it is sensible, interesting and entertaining. I would have much rather read more character interactions instead of pancakes.

I thought he would turn into a shadow capable of copying the abilities of defeated creatures, but I understand that this would make shadow dance progress quite useless and so I imagine that the next shadow dance stages will be tied to the ability to copy the abilities of creatures. Honestly at the moment it doesn't seem like a cool transformation, but let's see how it develops 😅

Honestly, there is something that does not sit well with me about Cassie's visions. In theory, shouldn't the visions simply guide her towards a future predetermined by fate? It doesn't seem like Cassi can see countless different futures and choose which one to follow, does it? Or is it a Doctor Who kind of thing, where there are fixed points in time that can't be changed and the rest can? It's always a mess with visions of the future and time travel, which is why I've never been convinced. It's easy to create plot holes.

I really hope that after this 3d nightmare there will be more povs and character interactions. The plot is great, I like the fights, and Sunny's development is good, but I feel like the other characters are pretty hollow and haven't been fleshed out enough. How do they feel about what is happening? What emotions are they feeling? What are their goals? Povs and dialogues can really help a lot to do that, but I notice that there are very few of them.

Sunny never killed innocent people just because it was convenient for him. His personality is different from Mordret's. Have you forgotten when Mordret tried for no reason to kill Sunny and steal Weaver's mask from him, even though he was not his enemy?
