im feeling a big possibility that the COI (assuming COI is only the sequence 1 name of the pathway) and the hidden entity behind Madam Pualis were 2 undiscovered branches/pathway of the scourge of destruction, also the reason why these two could easily pass on their powers to assassin/hunter pathway

I already expected it, but it seems like it will follow a plot of resurrecting a loved one. If im right then Lumian's story would be a classic xianxia plotline of ascending to higher realm for the sake of reviving Aurore, cuz I can't see a path where Aurore survives this loop predicament.
