Classic omniscient being suddenly loses for no reason. I’m far more willing to believe it if he blocked his own abilities like in the omnipotence paradox, or maybe he lost on purpose because doing this will entertain him in some fashion. Regardless, this is annoying.

Like he said, brainwashing is best as a surprise. He shouldn’t use it except when there are no witnesses, he won’t be caught, or as a last resort. Not giving info on it is his best bet.

Ron is a great character. Honestly, all three of the golden trio are awesome characters. You can relate to the greatly, but all of them are deeply flawed as well.

Honestly, Death munchers just makes me cringe. I autocorrect it in my head to death eaters every time. It’s just so juvenile. I can understand if it fits the character, but you have him acting mature, so it just doesn’t hit well. Also, calling the people who tortured you for 8 months a childish name?

?? Why do the galleons first? Use the lesser currency to determine the exchange rate. What if you can’t get the galleons back? To be fair, he’s learning and probably didn’t think it through. I might make the same mistake in his position.

Bit of a pet peeve here. How so? How do you know he can’t possibly have a sound mind. Here, he overestimates himself and underestimates Voldemort’s threat. I understand that it’s likely. More than not. But with a threat like Voldemort, you shouldn’t be making ANY assumptions. You don’t really know the defenses. You can’t break into gringotts or Malfoy manor. The plot will work itself out because this is a fanfic and it honestly just will, without any real losses. But it just sounds horribly arrogant. Think about what would happen to the character without the plot armor you’re giving him. That’s what the character should have in mind.
Voldemort could be dealt with, especially by me who knew all his secrets, and at the moment, he was only a parasite. Even after his resurrection, he only had 1/7 of his soul at best and 1/64 at worst. Such a fragmented soul can not possibly sustain a sound mind in my opinion. - MkJ1mthCommented
As bad as the mother was, pushing her dreams and wants for him on him, I don’t think you should just hang up. She’s worried for you, as all good mothers are, and wants you to be happy. This just feels bad.
