It said "chasing them were two heads" so I'm imagining two scenario: Either the head is flying or it's jumping up and down.
One head belonged to a man with puffed-up cheeks resembling a squirrel. He chewed on long, thick black hair that emerged from his dark brown eyes, nostrils, and ears.
