Megumi would still hold him back, and megumi is a shikigami user he is weak in close combat, which mahito specializes in, and both mahito and hanami on their own are two much for megumi the best option was to send him away as he would only get in the way.

Well the stronger the creature he tries to create the more strain it will have on his body decreasing his speed and strength and stamina.If he does summon him that because this mahoraga is made of life energy, and Yamin destroys life energy. mahoraga will not have time to adapt and would become a liability.Even if mahoraga is fully able to adapt he will become to hard to maintain as mahoraga will keep gaining more power and require more energy leading to his body getting too fatigued and he can't just destroy and recreate mahoraga because that mahoraga will be an entirely new one not having adapted to the same thing the previous had.
