The minimum the stupid ward his mother had made could do was dampen the sound, no? Still, it was weird. Looking at her now, asleep, I'm amazed by how peaceful her face is. If I'm going to be her "dad", I've got to be worthy of her trust. The two of us had no luck with our godly parents, so I have to be better than that. Better like my dad. I may only be eleven, but that's no excuse. Why does he have the scar? His healing factor should leave nothing behind. I know some people find scars "cool", but is a little inconsistent, or he also have a terribly scared belly?
