Maybe add yuri in the description or tags or put that it's polyamory in the description, people get confused when you add the harem tag and then go with polyamory instead. Harem= Centered around MC and girls are only with the MC vs Polyamory= Girls are in romantic/physical relationships with each other + the MC. They are not the same at all lmao. It will definitely help you avoid complaints from people that came expecting an actual harem story, but it's up to you. Good luck on the story.

That's from her pov though, from Xiao Yan and his grandfathers pov they lost face due to it happening in front of others and not just between the 4 parties involved( XY, his grandfather, nalan girl and her grandfather) I guess you could say 5 if you include the other girl, add on to the fact that they could've done it way earlier when he had his "talent", but they decided to do it after he lost it. Definitely better ways to go about it other than pressuring the Xiao clan with your sects influence.

This is the author trying to earn her some pity points. I do not believe that the author was influenced by the comments regarding the Jessica situation, so this is just a build up to the MC explaining the supernatural to her and getting back together, while helping her get some type of power to let her be safe. Don't forget that the author is already ahead by a number of chapters on ptreon.

Still, it gets tiring to read this sentence after that happened. If the MC was still ahead of her despite her physique, then I wouldn't really care about people praising his "talent", but he can't even really be mentioned in the same breath as her at this point imo.
