I have a sneaking suspicion that Falcon Scott will not fall. The plan is to evacuate everyone and then let it fall so this is the reason for the chapter name. I suspect though that once Goliath and the winter beast are slain communication will be restored and Falcon Scott will become the forward offensive base for humans. It will be the line drawn in the sand and the choke point that all nightmare creatures will suicidally attack. When the Second Evacuation Army comes to reinforce them the tide will be turned and the end will be near. The only thing that will stop the humans will be their own stupid political infighting.

I disagree. Considering the length of these chapters this is more like the first real length chapter. Perhaps he will go back and edit the chapter names of the previous acts of this book to more accurately delineate the various movements of the story. Like "Being a dreamer" or "The second nightmare" or even "Rain"

Unfortunately the only way to get extra chapters is to stop reading for a couple weeks and come back later. Guiltythree works super hard on this to keep up the pace he does. Quite frankly I would not want to sacrifice the quality of his work for speed.
