Hmm, I do get your point. Now the spoilers more or less gave me an idea about the direction of this story. Guess dropping it. Nothing against Indian elements honestly, but I can see that this is a MC convenient plot. Dude while I understand the incompatibility with Japanese and Indian cultures, and mixing them can sound weird honestly, but that is the same for chinese and korean authors too. Chinese authors bring in Cultivation and patriotism into everything! Koreans tend to write lone wolf, emo MCs with Japanese villians way too often. As a fellow geek, at this point you should expect authors to naturally add their cultural flavor to their adaptations. Never read an Indian author's work, try this. You find it cringe? no worries move on, dont read. But no need to criticize or insult others.

We never knew exactly what happens to the original eyes apart from speculations. Eyes getting absorbed is also not cannon just like many theories out there .Most uchiha made the mistake of going blind before opting for the eye transfer. More or less we don't have any cannon instance where uchihas decided to replace their functional mangekyo. So a swap of this kind is actually a first to happen. Anyway I will assume this works for the sanity if the story.
