I like the setting and the premise of the story, and the overall main story arc. The world is quite complex, and there is a variety of characters and locations and events. Language is a bit broken, which for some may be a huge issue, but that is fine by me. What I did not like was the sex scenes: (almost) all of them are quite similar to each other, so if you read one, you can skip the others. I expected more variety since the "life of debauchery" is supposed to be at the heart of the novel. Still, I liked this novel pretty much.
