You are forgetting you're reading a novel. An author writes a bunch of different characters, that doesn't mean they have multiple personality disorder.

Currently I'm reading "Blood Titan System". That MC has true pride, which is rare even among Chinese MCs. Pride without substance is dangerous. But someone who without pride won't suddenly attain pride after getting strength. Even after getting strength he would still be bendable. What he got is confidence, not pride. MC has a gamer system and is not apathetic. He will have family and loved ones to care about. He would probably forget about power ups to spend time with his family, if he could. MC is also with morals. Don't expect much evil. He might have been treated badly but he will still have a soft spot in his heart. I left a good rating because I ignored the tags. I like more of a villain and evil guy. So this novel is not my type. As for 1 less star is because everything is made too dramatic. Too many words where it could be shorter. Plots dictate everything. Plot I mean, authors illogical logical justification. Something that doesn't make sense is forced into happening. Characters are the personification of plot, not intelligent beings.
