Latest chapter tanks my opinion of the author completely (note I am on chapter 319 at time of review). 319 chapters for the author to pull some bullshit I won't go into since I don't believe in spoilers. Frankly there's been a good smattering of bullshit throughout but this one just pisses me off. A lot. I'm not sure I'd recommend the book at this point

Why choose a civilian model rifle converted to full auto instead of a military AR pattern rifle like an M4A1 SOPMOD or MK18 or even an HK model? Also, the ar15 is nor integrally suppressed, so if you want one that is you should go more in depth and explain the modification

You know, for a book with a simple and sleezy premise it has a lot of good moments. Frankly it feels a lot like the author makes it up as they go along, but so Ling as they keep their facts straight (and they do for the most part) it's ok. The main character is a very flawed person, which is slightly refreshing from the standard goody two shoes. My biggest complaint is that the actual story doesn't start until about the halfway mark. The writing before that is important context but the main story doesn't start till midway in the book. Overall I'd say a worthwhile read. An author more talented than I was expecting
