this is oddly disturbing especially since your name includes the weird jar
hohohoh, i highly doubt he's forgotten it.(though I'd love to know if he expected the degree of flames some fans have about it) I expect shell either do it again herself.... or show actual repentance/change by calling out a sunny/neph conflict about to blow up while crying in-between them.
1 betrayed to explicitly harm. the other betrayed to keep him safer(for supposedly selfish reasons but...) 1 did admittedly own up to it, but made no attempt to claim or show a change in future outcomes and has continued on without readressing it with the victim, the other owned up to it, apologized/asked for forgiveness stated it wouldn't be an issue in the future and is explicit in recent times to show a change. back when nephis was away in nether land I fully supported sunnies mistrust and preparation for Nuclear options, I still advise he is always ready to kill nephis due to the power imbalances, but she's been building the relationship (vs utility) trust that Cassie hasn't
1st, love this convo. 2nd yeah there is a Lot of foreshadow potential with sunny/neph a slave liking their owner quote. id slightly counter your concern of neph doing what she wants with anyone at anytime can backstab someone, like neph's 'uncles' did to her family, but while I can see her ordering him to stand down, not follow her, get to safety(as she has already shown shes willing to do this and can't be given the benefit of doubt/be trusted to not do it again) especially with her my.will be done, personal history of fate/spell incentivizing betrayal/tragedy, and current behavior of being overtly non-ordering, i don't see her Ever using her authority to send Sunny into a meat grinder/danger/go against his morals aside from in regards to Her safety. of course if she does later on then "Et tu Brute?"
nah, she sees her parents/her death now after becoming a master. also she 'saw' her and sunnies death, exactly as it happened but without any death. she had no where near the level of foresight back then. Also, while I had your idea back when the betrayal 1st happened and even advocated for her back then(a solid 1/3 of why I'm so salty towards her), shortly after waking up she admitted she just chose nephis over sunny because she couldn't save both and just made a choice.
lol apologizing to someone for something your going to do, to kill them no less, in the future they don't understand or know about isn't a real apology. also the fact that she went through with even after acknowledging sunny wasn't just gonna be selfish makes her decision even More damning rather then less
hold stop, Ftr i LOVE Cassie as a book character I hate to read about. She's an amazing and important part of the book I wouldn't have change from how the author uses her in any way. Past that I hate her guts and would Never trust her again in 'real life.' Her and Rachel from Tog are my most personally hated characters ever! with Rachel being leagues above Cassie in horribleness but I'm the same vein of closest betrayer.
where is my logic wrong?
lol love the stretch/reach comment, thank you for sharing it.
she better be okay!
honest curiosity, what has she said or done that indicates she was scarred other than admitting it didn't work out like she planned, aka sunny didn't die?
dang, that's sad and possibly true. good story either way
if he's in the mirror and it is dismissed into sunnys soul would he be booted out, disappear himself until the mirror is resummoned, it stuck in sunnys souls surrounded by dead guards?
if other dude can be a full murders worth it crows it could happen
lol right
ah hhh she seems to be learning her place
especially when neph entertained her at 1st
yep, realized that a few paragraphs later
meh, getting my emotions out on a fake entity Is my therapy, can't exactly let my emotions out on my teenage therapy clients
