How could saying the truth about what afflicts Roxy be offensive as far as I know she is the only person from her race without th ability to use telepathy which is strange in itself so him commenting on it when the girl isn’t in earshot isn’t really offensive

Hearing their offensive comments, I turned to Roksan and tugged her dress. She noticed my gesture and immediately knew what to do. Raising her two fists, she bonked the two on the head, causing them to grimace in pain.

so what her body doesnt produce blood

'Your blood is special, but only so much can be given. The more you give, the more your lifespan is taken. Do you not care about how long you live?' Daise sometimes did not understand Celia, but they were connected by blood and body.

she cant even beat the snake and a simple float spell will incapacitate her

'You are going to die!' Daise was frightened, knowing the situation was happening to both of them. 'Are you stupid!? How are we going to survive? Do you know that if we meet Laonn, we will both revert back to being prisoners and lab rats?' This poor creature did not know that Celia did that all on purpose to come across Laonn. She believed she could stop Laonn now even though she was still only a child who was still learning to control her strength and powers.

why didnt she turn into beast form

Celia fell over with the old snake's tail still wrapped around her small body. She kept trying to wriggle out while the snake's tail did not seem to lose its strength and grip around her. Sachin grabbed the snake's tail, ripping it in half from the old woman's upper body before carrying Celia into his arms. 'Great, what are you going to tell me?' She could see that Sachin wanted to say something. 'From that look, I can tell that we are in for some deep lecturing later when we get home.'

but she has no blood or flesh

'You were lucky that I managed to fuse our blood and flesh in time.' Hearing Daise once more in her head, she looked up as if trying to look inside of her head.

'For you, I will protect your family just this once.' Seven made a vow at that moment and looked at Priti's belly and then at the three people who stood around her.

    liar

Seven did not know where she had gone, but she stumbled upon a small pond. Washing from there, she could see the look on everyone's face that immediately blamed her with no hesitation to think about it all. 'This is why I hate every living being, whether human or beast.' She felt as though no one would understand her. She kept looking at her reflection in the water, seeing nothing but a monster that they called her.

"I did. I wanted to see if what the maids and servants said was true, and it was. She sleeps under the bed more than on it. She will not stay healthy if she chooses to still sleep under the bed." Reg crossed his arms, leaning on the bed while his father tended to the girl with another fever.

have you seen how they treat her

"Priti, you know how she has acted for the past few days. Even the maids and butlers refuse to even go into her room. I cannot accept her if she does not accept us in return." Sachin did not want his wife to get injured while getting close to the girl.

it was mentioned before that she did

Turning to see her worried lion husband, she sighed. "I've told you already. I cannot leave a child like her alone. Watching while she is left like this is far too upsetting and painful. She has gone through far more than what we should expect. I do not exactly know what she has been through, but I know that it must have been very… traumatizing. I know the last person who held her for their selfishness was bad." Priti knew her husband was worried about her, but ignoring a child's suffering was just too much. Her heart was far too kind to overlook the little girl. Yet, she did not even know that the last person who betrayed the girl was also a child.

so they are basically glorified slaves

"There, beast folk and humans still co-exist, but the humans are the ones who still feel the most fearful of beast folks who have long forgotten the past. They fear that beast folks can easily trample on them. The humans have set a law that no beast folk can come near their land unless given the duty or task to do so."

"The Emparael Kingdom was founded by the imperial family that continues to rule today. The kingdom was once in peace with beings known as Beast Folk or even Beast Kin. Both humans and beasts were once in peace until a war broke out that took many of the beasts' lives. Many beast folks have lost their homes, families, and hope. That was until one beast rose above to take a stand for their kin; his quick-witted mind had resolved the misunderstanding between the humans and beast folk. He did not wish for the beast folk to die out and appear as if they never existed."

this is so forced she had no desire to learn now she suddenly does and the kid happens to be there

The black fur cub lion looked at her, seeing that she was still on guard with them even though they saved her from the slave auction. "What are you trying to do?" He went towards her, seeing the book she had pulled from the lowest shelf. Holding the book in his hands, he stared at the book and then at the girl. "History of the Emparael Kingdom." He read out loud, looking back to the little girl again. "Were you trying to read this book?" He did not think that the little girl would be looking into this kind of book. Seven did not think she would pull out the correct book, but she did not drop her guard. "I'll read it to you. Just be sure to lower your guard a bit and listen well." Reg sat down on the couch in the library, with Seven cautiously going over to him to be able to listen. But she remained more at the couch armrest than to sit next to him.

so if insted of prioritising her immediate safety she is acting on impulse and doing something dumb

'Those like me?' Seven started to wonder, hearing that talk which brought curiosity towards her. 'What is the history here?' She thought, feeling as though she could find out more about the world she was in if she could. Watching the servants walk past her, she looked around more to see if there was possibly anything she could find out about where she ended up. Seeing large double doors, she pushed them open and looked around the room. 'Books?' She went around the entire room, seeing piles of books and bookshelves that stood tall with tough wood used to build them. 'Maybe I can find information here.' Pulling out a big book on one of the lower levels of the bookshelf, she opened it to take a look. The book's cover looked very important, which she could not help, but pull out and guess what it was. 'I don't understand any of these writings!' She realized that she would have to learn the alphabet again. 'How am I going to know now?!' She didn't know how she would find out more about the history of this world without knowing its language first.

"I came to tell you that I brought you food." Hearing him say that, she slowly crawled out and stood on the opposite side of the bed, where it separated the two. Eyeing the white fur lion, she did not know if he was trying to scheme something against her. Seeing the plate of chicken, her stomach growled while drool was trailing down from her mouth.

it would take months to get her to say a word or 2 perhaps a year before she gets comfortable talking then maybe another 2 before she will talk about what happened

Sachin knew that it was pointless to ask her the first day; it would take some time before they could even get the answers they were looking for. Leaving the girl alone in the room, she would not be able to leave this mansion of his quickly. Seven remained under the bed; she had fallen asleep without knowing it and slept peacefully that night.
