it's clearly explained that Leonel creates a full copy of himself with every fasset identical to a degree the 8th dimension ancestors can't tell the difference even after studying him. it's also explained that Leonels life is tied to himself, even tho he can instantaneously trade places with his clones, his soul is only residing in one of these bodies at a time. we also don't know the limit to the amount of clones he can produce currently but it is far greater than 2. he's just playing with these guys
