I’m only at chapter 37 but I really don’t care how “sweet” her brother is. His YOUNGER, ORPHANED, and, by his thoughts, always kind, little sister was not as reliable as his “friend” Sienna? She was abused and threatened and bullied and her own brother didn’t believe her. I know. Mistakes are made. But I wouldn’t be able to trust or forgive either of them. Obv they never trusted her and beyond that type of abuse, how DARE that Alpha now claim to “love her”. Gth. He was a ceremony away from marking someone he KNEW wasn’t her. Find it pretty convenient that now he wants her. Especially after hearing from Drake how powerful she is… She could so easily be tossed away before. By BOTH of them, as a jealous petty WEAK person. I’d hope my BROTHER at least knew me better than that. I’m not a good person and I’m down with a fever so maybe I’m EXTRA evil. I don’t think I’d be able to get past it. He chose. They both did. And BOTH chose Sienna.

The synopsis sounded good but the FL does not act like anyone who’s been kidnapped and married off against her will. There are no true attempts at escape, struggle or even resistance which would make her more credible. Instead all she does is think about how good looking her kidnapper/captor is, although none of his actions indicate sincerity at this point. I get love stories starting from Stockholm syndrome on WN, but this FL isn’t acting like a princess who was taken against her wishes and made a forced bride. Or even a regular woman who’s been kidnapped. Still have hopes for the magic parts of the story though! But her reactions make the impending romance seem really insincere/contrived

No. You are correct, IDEALLY her FAMILY, Grandpa, that “rescued her”, should have loved, welcomed and protected her without hesitation or restraint. Such a yucky old man.

I’v only been reading this genre for awhile, but is there something I don’t understand about the Rolls Phantom? I can honestly say that 6 of the last 7 Big Shot stories that I have just finished, ALL have the powerful ML driving this particular vehicle. One story even went into shopping, manufacturing and cost. Is this a very important symbol in the East? Or just bunch of authors’ preference? Not an important question at all, but definitely wondering…
