Well, that was a bit of an exaggeration. He learned quite a few things: he learned that the social strata wasn't all that different from Earth, i.e. it was hierarchical, he learned that either the word 'peninsula' meant a completely different thing here or peninsulas here were insanely large to store six major Kingdoms.
