Remember that River is still in his early start of his adventure. I dont plan to make the novel anyway that focuses only in battles. I always enjoyed slice of life and relaxing with pokemon scenes. If he spoils them then who cares? If it comes to bite him in the future then that's a lesson he's inevitably going to get.
He got the Miltank illegally from the black market so the pokeball for his miltank isn't registered, his miltank isn't registered. So it means that the miltank isn't included yet in his carry capacity of 6 pokemon. For a travelling trainer, those registered, they could only carry 6.He doesn't want to register yet his miltanks that he has no plans (yet) to train.

Pichu could still learn volt tackle, according to games that is. But If you think about it in real world, the pichu's small body would be burdened by just practice alone. Not to mention when fighting and hitting other pokemon. The mc also just finished his 2nd badge so I think the current moves are enough for now. focus on mastery first
not as heavy as volt tackle. Iron tails power is only 100 while volt tackle is 120 where even the user receives recoil damage. From the start even before River started his journey, he already taught pichu tail exercises in preparation for that. While volt tackle, he hasn't yet. Would he even want to see the little Pichu doing that? it's literally a variation of double edge. If he is so adamant in forcing his pokemon to learn moves that could even potentially harm them in the long run then it isn't the laid-back trainer anymore.
Not until the beedrill could arrive faster and pierce its neck. Actually there are fanfics of MCs starter is a weedle. and their beedrills are powerful killers. There was even one fanfic I read where the mc was from sinnoh region, he was about to investigate a secret research laboratory of team galactic but when he got there, everyone was killed by someone from team rocket who only used a beedrill to pierce everyone there and their pokemon, even hard metal doors were destroyed. So I also have some impression on beedrills and I dont want its lethality underestimated even when alone.
Games are games. The world is very vast but in Kanto, Pewter is a city that is known to have laboratories and researchers studying and researching fossils, rocks and jewelries. It even has a museum only for different types of rocks. In both kanto and johto region, trainers and anyone who would have any interest in stones and rocks would have to go to pewter city to learn about it because experts are there. Even the gym leader is a rock type specialist. So imagine the number of wandering trainers in both regions, tens of thousands? a hundred thousand? If ever they found one from their adventure, where do you think they will bring it? to Pewter right? The amount the MC has is only the tip of the iceberg to the unknown number of megastones present in the world. And he only got that because he was in Pewter and he took advantaged of it.
MC wants to keep his available slots for now because if he exceeded that, he didn't know where to keep his extra pokemon.
That's a good idea too. But for now MC wants to focus training his three pokemon.
Wary is when someone is showing caution about dangers. Feebas isn't, not when her trainer is around. It's shy because she still is insecure and timid.
that reaction was funny. thank you for taking notice lol
pichu's body cant handle volt tackle yet. That's a heavy move that needs practice
not that great at that yet.ill research a little more for some inspirations
you have to know, no one has any idea what the stones are capable of.
Those were games bro. Giovanni is the rocket boss. He has countless resources that could enhance Pokemon. Not to mention the Beedrill who was his starter, it is understandable to have been given the best. It should be his trump card and killer. I think its not entirely right to base Pokemon strength on their potential alone or their species strength in the real world. Resources and training methods should be considered too. It's not correct to base from how games worked either. I could use a level 70 swampert against a level 70 groudon and defeat it, but in real life, the swampert has become a god first because it would just be killed by a Pokemon that can create continents. Just my thoughts bro.
