I apologize about that, been writing so much recently to try and get all the knowledge down on the page before my brain pulls a dog with a squirrel moment and wants to chase after a different story. haha

I'd hafta say the Romans in this scenario as it's shown in history as well as the lore. Azog's army was little more than warriors who fight like barbarians which were ultimately the easiest foes to fall before the Legions, at least until decadence and infighting causes the legions to collapse in upon themselves. Couple that with the fact that the Legions would be a living breathing adaptable army compared to Azog who must to all the commanding pretty much by his lonesome as his "men" arent exactly capable of independent thoughts and strategy.

As an author i guess i can only say that I love my own work, and for those on the fence about reading it. I tried to come up with something new, that would combine some of my favorite games, to create an intriguing story that I personally have had more than one dream about happening.

Sorry to hear that knight, this Novel will be typically pretty heavy in game elements, but i have plans to do up another military style book probably next year that will mostly only have a Level/Stat based system with a shop function (at least for the MC that is).

I get what you're saying but he is on Immortal level difficulty after all, can't just let him go spamming skills left and right without recourse.

Where's an Author who won't rate his own work as 5-Star? Well not here at least, I enjoy writing this series and have a few others I've either already started or contemplating starting up. One's following in vein with this one in the other world setting, while the other is a back in time style parallel world.

Well trying to keep it from the perspective of the naiivete that an earthling would have, my main reason for going this route is to use this early admission of information to allow for a grander scale issue to come up as a result that will take everyone on great tale of intrigue, Plus i think after the various small traumas from the summoning to the capture by bandit's he kinda of got a first crush syndrome going where the first person he felt he could trust he just placed all his chips on.

Only so many days one can do a death march of 12-16 hour shifts before they just want to get back to what they love doing.
