I like the story! And you should trust me when I say your novel have a enormous potential. But, I have seen some troubles. The story don't really relate the emotion when the character are playing. I'm a new author too and I know how is rudeness to write a novel when other things are in the game. However, don't precipitate your story, go slowly, make sure that everything is ok.
