I decided to take a chance and read this one. I've found that starting books that only have a few chapters usually leads to disappointment. The author usually drops the story before ten chapters, so I decided to read things that had ten or more.
A/N: So... How was the first chapter? Pretty bad, right? This is my first time writing something like this (really anything at all), so it would make sense if it sucked. Saying that Iron Man is the archenemy of the Mandarin is a bit too much of a compliment to Stark. The Mandarin possesses ten high-tech rings, all of which are alien creations. I didn't know if you would have read it. It's cool to know that authors I like know of each other. It just seems so odd to read that an author is reading something I read, playing a game I played. Creators seem so different from me, yet do similar things. Sorry for the wall of text. Interaction with the creator of something I like leaves me with a lot of thoughts.

If Wakanda is predominantly black, that's understandable. But why is the head of the secret agency black, the presidential candidate is black, and now the Air Force Colonel is also black? Daisy felt that the blacks were taking over America…

He's done some really cool things with his powers in comics. It's true that there's a lot of potential with that ability, though.
She had also improve greatly in her usage of megnetokinesis, and could now control peoples blood. How? She wasn't entirely sure to be honest, she knew there was iron in human blood, but it wasn't really magnetic. She did base her magnetokinesis off of Magneto himself, so she assumed it was due to that, that she can control blood. As he himself, can do it quite easily. - randompotatogun2mthReplied to Shanaha

I didn't particularly care who won this fight, but I was a little worried we might see the outbreak of the next Corporate War right here and right now. If that happened, then I would use everything in my bag of tricks to ensure Kiwi, Gloria, and David survived, and I wouldn't care about little things like keeping the Dragoon and me separate at that point. I would even use Hasumi's influence to try to get them evacuated if it looked like one side would use WMDs in an "if I can't have it, then nobody can" attack. - randompotatogun2mthReplied to Shanaha
The grenade wouldn't be made of solid metal, because it's a disposable item, and Mantis blades are ridiculously sharp and sturdy.
I would wait until this was all over to be thoroughly introspective about where I had fucked up, but I felt the main problem was that I both snuck too close to the enemies, and I tossed the grenade too close to them. "Close enough" worked for horseshoes, grenades and nuclear weapons. I could have tossed it so that he would never have a chance to intercept it, but I just never in my wildest dreams thought he would chop it in half or that would work.
