Tywin trusts her implicitly, so he'll let her run the rock as she sees fit while he is the hand of the king. of course, Kevan is Tywin's man, so Kevan reports back to Tywin as well, and thus, the old lion is more than a little aware of Joanna's plans and willing to indulge her a little if it proves fruitful enough often enough.

Well, I mean the Special Operations Brigade deals with some of the most dangerous assignments, and Kellian is actively participating as opposed to sticking to desk duty. Plus, Palpatine will notice that a lot of Kellians missions tend to bring him into contact with Anakin. the one he wants as his apprentice. so it's largely a risk vs. reward situation. Having said that, however, my current chapter that I'm working on, which is an interlude...provides me, a perfect and discreet way of writing in Sidious trying to get rid of Kellian. So, at the very least, something or someone will be sent to kill him. Also let's be realistic without the Force and an exceptional skill with a lightsaber and six highly trained commandos like the nulls, as well as unorthodox tactics it's next to impossible take out ships one by one with minimal casualties nevermind a number of fleets, so for the most part Sidious has until now been hoping to get lucky there why increasing the threat of the Confederacy in the larger picture. I'll be upfront and say come season two is when Sidious begins to get more serious with taking Kellian out. What that entails, however, has yet to be fully mapped out.
