Spongebob and Patrick did it too.
Preparing to grill it?? This is the judgement process! he should be done by now. You desperately need a beta reader, or just do a second readthrough of your chapters before posting them to avoid errors like this and the duck meat appearing from thin air.
No she wasn't. After all, she didn't kill a duck. How could she possibly make this.
The students of Hogwarts are being robbed. Divination is amazingly useful (even in universe). Divination is basically all magic concerned with magically attaning information, that you otherwise shouldn't have. The mistake at Hogwarts is focusing on divining the future instead of the present. Basically all detection charms ("Hominem revelio"; or Madam Pmpfrey's detection charms for curses; or potion detection charms to reveal Fred & George's contaminated foods; or "Tempus") are classified as divination. They all have a wide array of use cases and some are essential for many jobs.
Does it? I don't see it. Being sorry after someone has shown their usefulness and not a moment earier doesn't strike me as a particularly admirable trait.
Why would an Inuzuka of all people use "dog" as an insult. It makes no sense... Is this machine translated?
Blaze it!
Not exactly. While you're right, that -san is still used where English-speakers would have long since switched to an informal mode of adress; it STILL translates to "Mr., Mrs. or Ms.". The Japanese simply required closer intimacy in order to ditch formality.
There shouldn't be a route through Ame. Don't your remember that the bridge was destroyed?
"-san" means "Mrs.", you know...
While I havn't posted on ao3 before I would recommend that you drop a sizable chunk of chapters (maybe 30 or 40) to show that there is actually a story present and so that people get drawn in; and then start with regular updates to show people that you are commited to continuing the story. Should help reader retention.
must've reached out through the collective unconscious
I'm not saying I didn't (though I was 14 or so), but there is actual psychological research demonstrating that playing age restricted games at a young age can influence the perception of- and propensity for violence, sexual deviancy etc. in an unhealthy way. Just use Google Scholar and it shouldn't be too hard to find.
And THAT, dear children, is why you always wear your seatbelt!
I was thinking more along the lines of Hamon from Jojo's
What's with all the harem love in this comment section? Monogamy does make a story more focused. You don't need the story to crawl to a standstill because all girls need their spotlight. I'm not saying well-paced harem is impossible, but it's way harderd than y'all make it out to be. Harem belongs in smut most of the time. If you are serious about your narrative and pacing, monogamy is the way to go.
There is no such thing as a hospital bill for a soldier during an active war.
And even if they changed his heart to make him good again, there is no way of setting him up as a spy. Yes, you can somewhat command the shadow once the treasure is stolen, but it's not gonna fly to simply tell Okumura's shadow to talk to that random kid with glasses at Haru's school and tell him all your secrets, while keeping your role as a bad guy as a pretense. That's way too specific.
Such humane, much ethical, wow!
