been looking for a high school story with an African vibe to it and I found it. The story starts out slowly and moves very fast. we get to see Elsie's growth both as a person and as a character. The sweet family dynamics and her supportive friends make the story more special. It is indeed a well written coming of age story, first love and the shenanigans of high schoolers.🤗😏🤭
