Hahahaha, this is clearly sarcasm The main character doesn’t have an ounce of kindness in him. Everything he does is for his one true goal, which will either be revealed to you and you’ll love it, or you’ll get spoilt.

There are little to no spoilers in this comment so hopefully I won’t need to add the spoiler tag, but you should just dive right into the novel. I have to say that this is a masterpiece, I’ve read about 1100 chapter and this is peak already. This has plot, world building and is just entertaining. My favourite part is the main character himself. He’s everything people should strive to be, he’s just extremely competent, who doesn’t care about anything or anyone and acts as a 500 year old demon that he is. In others, you see an old main character who went back in time etc and they act like children. In this one, he acts his age. The power system is one of my favourite, where the main contributor is Gu, which is an entity which can exist in any form, as a bug, an animal, a rock, etc. These Gu are used by Gu masters who dominate the world, and our main character survives and grows while using his wisdom and analytical abilities, not some “lucky” encounter with some master or something. I’ve also come to like this due to its unpredictable nature, where many other works of fiction are pretty obvious in what will happen. Though such things like “luck” are actually further delved deeper into later on. Anyways, this is also quite educational, it really broadens your perspectives on people and how organisations exist.
