Alan was on his twenties when he was sent forward in time to the year 4190, so if you count the years between the jump, then Alan wound be 9962 years old on present times. But if you don't count the years between the jump, then he would be 7775 years old. Making him the third oldest person on the world, losing only to Emil and Devola and Popola.

Oh, I believe this got confusing, didn't it? What I was trying to say is that people don't know exactly whether the Mysterious Warrior is one person who has lived for centuries or several people pretending to be the same person. Alden gave his name in the fight against Malenia, but the person who appeared at other points in the story is still Alden? As readers we know the answer, but the characters don't.
