It's been a few days since the attack, I find myself in a dissonance of opinions about how relatable the characters behave around fake Sheree. I don't want to sound like I have a higher vantage about the situation that is being built but I personally feel a bit paranoid at certain times of the day which gives me questions about the nature of people around me, which I find value in most situations. I understand that hope and love is blinding to the critical thought process but Elliot can be more than just a character in a fixed world, let him explore YOUR world or let him build curiosity about their existence, spread the focus to the world(I enjoy the four friends dynamic but I couldn't resist giving my thoughts). I personally find these three characters to be flawed. They are old but not wise, impatient even. They neglected communication, failed to be a part of the society that they derive the status quo from and they are hypocrites who ignore the fact that change is... inevitable!(Unless there is something or someone powerful enough to warrant action regardless of sequence of actions taken. In which case it's an unreliable pov?)
