I loved it for the 300 chapters then it gets boring and more plotholes the ending was and is always bad in these chinese novels but anyway it started out pretty good but then you start to realize ahh these people in this super fantasy world are dumb and one dimensional with no personality.The more people you control the harder it is to control them its not possible to control humans there will always be a spark in rebellion because of greed hatred jealousy gluttony..you get what im trynna say.Nobody even questioned how he gets the soldiers the larger countries dont question how he conquered a dynasty in two years.noone tried to poison him to get his powers he fucked two random chicks without thinking they might actually murder him. so unrealistic the people in power in ancient times non of them that controlled huge empires ended well for them look at Qin Shi Huang he died of poison.So did alexander the great.The more you read this.You start to see where im getting at.

wdym author are u going to change the novel? pls dont mind me rambling.. i wud like it if you focus more on the people instead of trying to increase his power like crazy..cough* introduce his daughter to a husband and daughter doesnt like him and finds a better one..*cough Anyway maybe in your next book u should focus more in the romance part i pretty much loved the date they had where they went killing the bandits its kinda new in most of the xianxia they focus more bout cultivating to an op degree and become immortals but then you find in the end they didnt accomplish anything like "record of a journey to immortality"the romance is vague and mostly focus on fights which are quite boring and theres no suspense cause u know the mc will win so they just drag the chapters i need drama in these xianxia and comedy and romance the best one i read was "A will eternal" Mc is op mostly in a shameless way.But its harem i want a couple that sticks together like this one also theres no xianxia that raises a kid together mostly mc just leaves the kid and just goes to increase his strength family drama is non existant wud love to see a family where mc helps his kids or kid raise him to be op

Ok so where should i start im a fan of this author love his stuff but this one is ending is kinda bad.This authors world building is unique and i love the backstories he give to side characters it makes you feel they are not one dimensional but as it goes on after 1k chapters you prolly feel like just skipping the fighting and just read the drama since the fights are one sided and cultivation is predictable sometimes the fight is prolonged for chapters but anyway good read

This gets kinda boring as you read to 1k chapters then you find that the grinding is same every other chapter.Mc is loyal to his wife.No harem.Its basically grind level up have some conflicts then spend time with a loved one theres no strategy

i dont like it cause hes not a monster

It wasnt what i was expecting when said it was art i expected a dark grotesque tragedic tale of a monster but instead what i got was a dororo remake kinda.For a monster how can he talk so perfectly how does he have those knowledge when he was kept locked and like a clear goal.Do you know when inmates are put into a dark room they lose rationality im just saying when he got out he should be pure irrational since he has conscious as a newborn.What we got was a kid who is rational and has emotions but cant show them and alittle numb to it but hes empathatic.This isnt what i signed up for

Overall i like it to be honest.The slice of life,The lovely couple mc and his wife against the world.I loved it for the 200 chapters.Also i cant forgive the author for skipping the background of the wife and her revenge i kinda wanted to know more.It was more about the survival of mc but then it became much more boring focusing on mostly cultivation and world building but worldbuilding is kinda vague i kinda still dont know how the world works.Mc is already so powerful i will read it to see if he gets any grandkids.
