Now my brother is betting on Sengoku getting a heart attack, while I’m personally betting on him to go on a lifelong coma. Which of us were correct?

That’s true, but Enel is a pretty cautious guy, and he knows that Jack needs to die instantly in order not to instigate a war between the beast pirates and the marines, so he knows that he can’t play around with Jack, which is why I said what I said.

Great chapter! I really enjoyed it! I mean Jack’s portrayal was really spot on! However, why didn’t Enel blow up the ship? I mean if he blew up the ship he would’ve taken care of Jack easily! Sure Jack is a fish man, but his devil fruit powers would literally cause him to be an anchor, so all Enel has to do is just electrocute the water, and boom dead Jack! Hope you respond!

Hmmm… While the chapter is great, the pacing of the story is starting to become a bit slow in my opinion, because of how large the one piece world, so unless you’re planning to skip somethings, or write a really long novel, I think you should start to pick up the pace a bit. However, this is still the beginning, and based on your previous novels, you always manage to surprise us, so I wouldn’t really worry to much about it. Anyways, I loved this chapter, and hope to see more soon!

First off, great chapter! I really enjoyed this one! I mean everything really fit in, form Garp blabbing anything he knew about armament haki, to needing to learn at least 2 rokushiki techniques become an actual rear admiral. I mean it all really fit in. However, (sorry if I’m annoying you with these questions), shouldn’t there be an interview for Enel? To check his background, and his psyche? But, since Akainu managed to enter the marines, I doubt they do a psyche check, lol. Plus, I always imagined Sengoku to be the cautious type, you know? The type who would be suspicious of Enel’s sudden emergence, and would question Enel extensively before recruiting him to the marines? But again, since Sengoku was with Garp, and the marines are lacking powerful new recruits, I guess all that precaution went away. Anyway, these are my question. Hope you answer them!
