while there are many decently talented purebloods most of the strongest wizards are half-bloods. for example Dumbledore, Harry, McGonagall and snape.

I was awoken slowly by the slight panting I heard above me. I cracked an eye open to see a massive wolf looming over me, it's tongue hanging out as it's surprisingly intelligent eyes looked down into my own.

that's what I thought, when knights of vale insta travelled from vale through the chaotic and lannister occupied riverlands, up the neck without anyone finding out. I still don't understand how it happened or why did sansa not tell jon about it earlier

Already, a huge divergence was made by his own actions and the ramifications of his actions are unknown at this point. Besides, he felt that the shows bungled up the entire timeline by making people appear through wormholes or something.

and tywin was greatly feared throughout the seven kingdoms. He wasn't even that good of a military commander but people still avoided offending him after reyne-tarbeck

Looks like Shagga, Son of Dolf is smarter than he thinks he is.

Timett, son of Timett, walked to the rock where Shagga was resting. Shagga might not be very smart, but he was at least not stupid enough to burn out his eye, like Timett. Having two eyes was always better than one in a fight!

It kinda makes sense. The more inbred you are, the madder you are.

"Thank you, Archmaester. I have much to think on for now. We'll speak again on the morrow; council dismissed," Aegon said tiredly and poured himself a cup of wine from the nearby pitcher.

In desperation, Greatjon grabbed a handful of snow and threw it into his enemy's eyes. The fucker gave a blood-chilling shrill and started slashing blindly towards the Umber with one hand and wiping his face with the other.

powerful enough to injure a dragon, hopefully

Wood itself could only bend so much, before breaking. A few hundred pounds of draw weight was not satisfactory enough. Thankfully weirwood brimmed with magic and was perfect for runic inscriptions. How powerful would a shot from a bow with thousands of pounds draw weight be? Jon carefully started carving the reddish wood with his bronze dagger, intent on finding out.

Sirius Black's face had almost an uncanny resemblance with the statue that stood in the middle of the room. A similar nose, wild hair or even facial proportions, although the cheeks and the brow looked different. This could not be a coincidence. Jon felt that after his godfather fell through the Veil of Death, he ended up here in Westeros and this statue was either him or his progeny.

No matter what conflicts, riverlands always draw the short straw. They're the setup stage for basically every conflict.

"The further west we go, the more our supply lines will be stretched. Little can be foraged from the Riverlands - everything has already been burned or looted in the War of the Five Kings. No fields were left unburned, towns unsacked, or maidens unspoiled," Manfrey Martell finished with a hum and scratched his cheek. He was right, the surrounding lands had been pitiful. The smallfolk had fled into the hills and forests at the first sight of armed men. Nobody dared work the fields, lest they got slaughtered and their harvest taken. Between floods, fire, and war, four of the last five harvests were lost in the Riverlands.

Theon Stark was pretty awesome. Defeated the andal warlord that invaded north, then sailed across the narrow sea with the body of the warlord tied to the ship, destroyed andal villages. cut off the heads of people there and took them back to north, where he diplayed them along the eastern coastline to show what happens if you invade the north. Conquered Three Sister. Defeated rebellions from The Rills. Led a generational defeat against wildlings alongside the Night's watch. And last but not the least when the ironborn king raided the western shores, he destroyed them and killed the King's son. Bro wanted all the smoke

It wasn't all a simple tale though. Shireen knew Jon Stark was decisive and ruthless, and the execution of two hundred Bolton men-at-arms by his hand proved that. Her father Stannis had long taught her the importance of duty and justice, and Shireen had read about the First Men's ancient tradition of meting out justice by one's hand. She was impressed. All the heads were then arranged on the spikes around the entrances of Winterfell, reminiscent of how Theon Stark dealt with the Andals who dared raid the North.

nah, shonen protagonist would take 5000 episode before realising

Despite what he said to Sansa, he wasn't too sure how this battle would turn out, but he would do his damned best to win. If nothing else, he was good at killing people. And by the gods, he wasn't blind or stupid. Jon suspected Sansa had developed feelings for him, despite thinking he was her brother. But with her favour and blushing look, he now knew for sure. And, he was, perhaps, a little attracted to her as well. The favour was safe, tucked underneath his right bracer. He would think about this after the battle; it would do him no good to get distracted now. He shook his head and cleared his mind.

    everything is a jojo reference

The next day, he made a bastard sword, similar to Longclaw but slightly bigger, and after long deliberation, instead of imbuing lightness, he decided to place a life-draining curse. Wounding or killing would energise the wielder, giving him more vitality or energy. The amount granted was quite small, and in effect, as long as you killed or wounded your enemies, you would simply tire slower than usual. The curse was something he had found in ancient underground ruins in South America, left by an unknown civilization.
