To be honest I enjoy info dumps, but I've found people complaining on similar chapters. (maybe I am just misremembering) Personally though I enjoyed the chapter.

A bit info dumpy but I like the world building, Martial Emperor Zhang sounds interesting. From the fact that he defeated not killed an entire Sect, shows that he wasn't a deranged maniac at least. The physique also sounds interesting, and at least explains Zhang Baichi's insane combat talent.

Well if you want my reasoning as the author. It may seem like a short time has passed as the reader, and for even I the author, but in novel time. Mo Xiaowen and Old Ox have been meeting each other every day for almost a year. The only people they speak to in the Sect and in general (besides business) is each other. As well as the Senior Brother Old Ox has a sense of responsibility for Mo Xiaowen. While Old Ox is somewhat naive at times I hope I didn't really portray him as such. The red beam is somewhat relevant but that will be explained much later with the vague plan I currently have, but you've been pretty close in your theories.

Quite interesting so far, I like the fact that the System is explained instantly, and that we're actually given the perspective of the old man to begin with. Can't wait to see Zhang Baichi's journey. Apart from that just a few questions. I don't mind young masters, but is every villain going to be a young master, or are there gonna be some proper antagonists. Haremwise, I just want to know if he's going to be collecting them like pokemon or not. I don't mind harem or no harem personally, but if it gets excessive like 10+ in 300 chapters, not really my thing. Besides that this is more of a question out of curiosity, since the system was given by the old man, will it become obsolete in future, or be upgraded over time?
