That teleport power is OP and a bit wasted as it can teleport others! Both the penguin and MC could be attacking with it. For any non-flying enemy, they could be teleported several km into the air to go splat on landing. MC could send manticores away up in the air, even as flyers their efforts could be broken up so it isn’t 3 on 1. Also ‘casted’ is misused all over the place. It is usually in present tense sentences and cast would be correct.

Also not smart enough to consider running away. Just go to another city! This is a common problem in fantasy’s though where 90% of problems could be avoided by simply moving around, taking it slow, etc. He was already a moron to get into that situation. He needs some lessons from the Paranoid Mage!

Truly awful, that was worse than killing Cia and leaves her open to have her mind restored as Quinn already suspects they have a mind control ability in Pure. Yet another unforced error and tactical blunder on Quinn’s part. This is what we expect from Quinn now, dumb as a bag of bricks. He should have just killed her and he’d be less of an evil villain. And he’s walking around lashing out in anger like a fool undergoing cigarette nicotine like withdrawals every single hour and unable to sleep properly from not drinking blood. It isn’t like he’s around lots of powerful people and can’t afford any slip ups! Oh wait he is! People are literally here to watch out for promising talents amongst the students and he has zero idea who is around or what abilities they have. Already he knows Leo can spot him on ‘sight’ and therefore other abilities must exist like thst out here which Auinn knows nothing about. And any vampires can smell him, he has no idea how many or where earth vampires might show up or be, but his event seems like a possibility. For all Quinn knows the vampire council might masquerade as a secret original family powerhouse like how the Blade family does. I know he wants a bit of fun or whatever, but if I were him I would not have left my hotel room for the entire week and just watched everything on the screens. A low profile is your best friend Quinn! If there is an error or mistake, we can be sure Quinn will head towards it! But I’m still reading, it is fun!

Oh why oh why didn’t they use Logan’s abilities to create a fake identity and send Peter away to live and farm credits for Quinn on some green portal planet? He has his transformation ability and could appear as a brand new 25 year old long past his military service. The need for human flesh has been solved and the ties forcing ghoul Peter to be close to Quinn are long gone. They really has so many other options than to try and fake an I’d deity if someone they didn’t know for sure was dead or not. Quinn could have even shipped some of his fresh blood to Peter via teleport every so often. Black marker buys could be sent to him, and he could just farm basic or maybe a suitable intermediate beasts solo in some random settlement.

Why the shouting? They have ear pieces for comms and are trying to remain secretive….so Raten shouts out everyone’s name while standing in front of Jack and in earshot of the guard? How did he not hear it? How does that make any sense? Quinn Quinn!!, shouting! do the thing! Same with all the ability shouting in VR and in sparring or fighting. But only sometimes and it is always a bad idea.

Yep! He literally has an infinite risk free experience machine with the VR fighting game and he has shadow skills, he could literally break into any blood bank and get all his stats over 100, but the problem is he has no intelligence stat and is basically a slow person. There is literally zero downside to this. He could even go around biting or cutting people or getting blood in his mouth from everyone in his class or the random people walking around. Apparently despite the supposed military setting he could fight anyone anywhere. He even was doing this with Rylee and then randomly stopped doing this for no reason. Especially after he got his shadow abilities.

Good gosh! They are all very low intelligence, but this random ridiculous teenager objection to everything anyone else says and does is tiresome. Something happens, people must shout objections no matter what it is! Reflexive anime shonen style shouting about literally nothing is something I cannot understand at all or why it is used so often, or ever. Is dumb people shouting exciting to anyone? These morons can’t seem to think 5 minutes into the future and everyone’s personality changes in each scene. Murdering people, dismembering them, chopping up beasts, and loads of other highly destructive abilities they all see and use on each other is a daily thing. Stabbing each other with what would be fatal wounds, except for the healing abilities to continually save them, at the slightest infraction. Why restricting someone’s movement or literally torturing each other are things Erin and Vorden do alllll the time! Why shout about it now? They live in such a violent broken world..but oh no…suddenly and for no reason one person gets made into a puppet for 5 minutes and the moral outrage is super strong even though they already know that all 5 of them couldn’t beat Fex. Even Layla’s own ability used by her and Vorden does the same thing using telekinesis to control someone else’s body, and Erin already froze Fex and apparently dozens of other people in place. Truly a stunning display of stupidity by all involved with the anti hero Quinn saving the day using his 90 iq points to think several hours into the future instead of only a few minutes.
