Saw the comment of JPNovelfan and I 100% disagree with him. I think that all side stories that either focus on an important character or work as world-building are good. Still, there can't be too many of them in a row. Around 15 such chapters is the maximum acceptable amount. I also don't even think that these chapters count as filler. They are Damian's backstory and serve as world-building. Still, I can understand a little why he complained about these chapters. We barely know anything about every character that is introduced in this backstory. It would be good if we had some preknowledge about most of the characters to make these chapters more exciting.

Praying for your father

I think that his disgust of them eating humans is little unwarranted. They only do it to survive and like he compared it it's like how humans eat animals. There is nothing special about humans. They are like all other animals and shouldn't be seen as a special case. Of course there is nothing wrong with being disgusted with the thought that you yourself would do it but to judge others for it if you aren't a vegetarian is wrong. Especially in his current world where most beasts/animals have the same intelligence as a human. (High tier) In our world we can at least use the excuse of the animals lacking intelligence. It's debatable how good that excuse is in current times when we know much more about the animals but we at least have a slightly usable excuse. Disclaimer: I'm not a cannibal that's trying to say that it's okay to eat humans.

Thanks for the chapter So does Roy lose his whole mana sea and mage class when shadowless leave his shadow? Then when shadow is away can't he just recultivate it and maybe even get some benefit from it? He has more than enough xp to do it if it's possible.
