That turn-off of a summary is literally just the initial setup — the actual flesh of this comic is a really cute story of two people passionate about their talents and work, falling in love under media/entertainment spotlights, and learning to overcome individual fears and insecurities. This is such a delicious comic.🥹 I had to binge read it in a day due to free reading access but that just got me more invested in the characters. The story’s initially set up with two male leads but it evolves into a really sweet high stakes romance without trashy sides. The art style is ✨ really pretty (personally think the big gradient no pupil eyes are cool but it does switch up midway and thru the end)…like holy hell Ji Chang’an is so hot🥵🤣 Gets all the emotions — laughing, crying, butterflies, WTF. Things do get a little tragically dramatic at the end but even if I cried I’m not mad because overall, quality read!💯

Translation is good and the artwork is pretty ✨ (quality stays the same thru the end). Not usually into vampire genre but the story was consistent and the characters are very likable. The finale wrapped up a little too quickly with some unanswered questions but I very much enjoyed this comic start to finish.

The artwork is so beautiful and detailed. Even the backgrounds in each panel are lush and crisp (not pixelated stock edit garbage). Story is a fun, kind of old-school fantasy romance, with cute characters and good pacing. I don’t understand why this comic isn’t more popular. Really hope this doesn’t get dropped/hastily wrapped up.
