It really depends on how long it would take to write 30 chapters as a backup, currently I've published 35 chapters in three months. As a result I'm assuming that it would take me three to four months to write 30 chapters.

Eevee evolves at Ch 33. As for Pokémon on the team, I have it mostly figured out for the first 6 and maybe some ideas for extra mons. Honchkrow and Weavile are cool Pokémon I agree but they will not be in the first 6, Drifblim will be the flyer.

I haven't planned MC to catch legendaries so far, don't know if this will change in the future. As for when the next will be here? In about 1 hour :)

You make a fair point, I've elaborated a little later on the 'second' life where he died earlier which was written weeks ago. In hindsight, I should've added that bit at the beginning but I didn't want to 'sneakily' edit that in the earlier chapters. I make mistakes and should be called out on it. I also have a few ideas that will touch on the second part you mention about him not acting his age, the entire fic will probably be around 100's of chapters long so expect that MC will change throughout the story.

I understand the criticisms however allow me to give a few points in return. First off MC is much like Bruce Wayne in the sense that in his previous life, his childhood was completely robbed from him due to circumstances outside his control. Why wouldn't he embrace a second chance at childhood? (Not saying he's completely like Bruce Wayne only the childhood.) Adding a bit to your previous comment about his metaknowledge, which was only limited to gen 4 due to spending a ton of time playing the game, his time playing the game far outweighs the small bits of the show he's seen so to not be surprised by new Pokémon he decided to focus more on studying. His other world knowledge is severely lacking, he spent all his time in the army along with zero emotions, Emotions are featured heavily in music it's why they've lost contact with his mother's side of the family because he didn't have emotions before Sinnoh. He knows guns and tactics, should he sell them? His parents collectively have 10 Pokémon they need to feed and take care of as well as themselves, with only his father working and his mother having no more contact with her sisters means not much would be able to be saved if at all. I also didn't want MC to be a perfect trainer from the start, he should be able to learn and grow as well from the journey even though he's mentally a lot older. Yes, I understand my fanfic has problems i.e. jobs, that will be added in the future. I'm not trying to invalidate your criticisms, just trying to explain them from my point of view. I truly appreciate all the comments and feedback people give me.

The thing is even after dealing with them for years Ash and even Brock for that matter never recognise Team Rocket under their disguises. The fact that they kept eluding police for years means they should be incredibly skilled in disguises. To us the viewers it might seem obvious but to the people of the world it isn't that obvious. At least this is my understanding

So, in the DP anime Double Kick gets shown as glowing feet. In the rest of the series its nothing at all just kicking. I guess I tunnel visioned on the DP anime and didn't look at the overall anime. I could change it if it is really bothersome.
