You people underestimate Sasori way too much..The only reason he was defeated in canon was due to plot and the hard counter on his abilities.
It made him even more suspicious. He wanted to catch some Oto ninjas but they stopped showing up. As a result, Sasori decided to attack the Yamakawa family to provoke Orochimaru. If this town was important to Orochimaru, he would be able to lure Orochimaru out and kill him. If it wasn't, then he could just increase his puppet collection. If you want some good books.. I'd suggest reading Lord of Mysteries abd My House of Horrors. Both of them are wonderful.

Tobirama is the real goat tbh. Atleast, in my opinion, he was the best Hokage...dude was an absolute genius.
